# Agent skills pack

> Install the SimForge agent skills into Claude Code, Codex or any agent that reads AGENTS.md, from the CLI or as a zip download.

The skills teach a coding agent to use SimForge: which command comes next, what each error means, and what never to do (such as spending past a cost cap). Each skill is a folder with a `SKILL.md`, in the Agent Skills format.

## Install from the CLI

The skills ship inside the `simforge` binary, so they always match its commands:

```sh theme={null}
simforge skills list
simforge skills install --claude          # ~/.claude/skills
simforge skills install --codex           # $CODEX_HOME/skills, else ~/.codex/skills
simforge skills install --dir ./skills    # any folder
```

`skills install` records what it wrote. Installing again updates those files; a file you changed by hand is refused (exit 2, `skills_modified`) unless you pass `--force`.

## Download the pack

[simforge-skills.zip](https://simforge.ai/docs/simforge-skills.zip) holds the same skills, an `AGENTS.md` index and a README:

```sh theme={null}
curl -fsSLO https://simforge.ai/docs/simforge-skills.zip
unzip simforge-skills.zip
```

| Agent | Install |
| - | - |
| Claude Code | `cp -R simforge-skills/skills/* ~/.claude/skills/`, or a project's `.claude/skills/` |
| Codex | `cp -R simforge-skills/skills/* "${CODEX_HOME:-$HOME/.codex}/skills/"` |
| Agents that read AGENTS.md | Copy `simforge-skills/skills/` into the repository and add `simforge-skills/AGENTS.md` to its AGENTS.md |
| Any other agent | Give it [/llms.txt](https://simforge.ai/llms.txt), or the `SKILL.md` files as instructions |
