> Reference for simforge mcp: usage, arguments and flags, generated from the CLI.

Generated from the CLI's own help (CLI 0.2.0-rc.5). Global flags and exit codes are on the [command reference](/cli).

## mcp

Expose this command surface as MCP tools over stdio

```sh theme={null}
simforge mcp [OPTIONS]
```

| Argument / flag | Notes | What |
| - | - | - |
| `--cwd DIR` | | Working directory for tool calls that do not pass `cwd` (default: this process's) |
| `--profile PROFILE` | one of core, full; default core | Which tools to list: `core` (the authoring, render and run loop, plus the `simforge` tool that runs any command) or `full` (every command as its own tool) |
| `--only COMMAND` | repeatable | Expose only the commands under these command paths, from the full surface (repeatable, e.g. `--only render --only "scenario apply"`) |
| `--all` | | Also expose the internal (staff and research) commands that `help` lists only with `--all`; an `--only` naming one exposes it too |
